How To Read A Supplement Label

Marketing pages sell a feeling. The Supplement Facts panel is the closest thing to a fact sheet you'll get. Here's what we check first on any label.

1. Is There A Proprietary Blend?

A "proprietary blend" lists a total weight for a group of ingredients without breaking out individual amounts. ProtoFlow names all eight ingredients individually.

2. Are Per-Ingredient Amounts Published?

Naming an ingredient isn't the same as disclosing how much of it is in each capsule. Check for a milligram figure next to each name.

3. Are Disease Claims Being Made?

A dietary supplement legally cannot claim to treat, cure, or prevent a diagnosed disease like BPH or prostate cancer. Be cautious of any page that implies otherwise.

4. Are Manufacturing Standards Disclosed?

Look for FDA-registered facility and GMP-certification claims, and confirm where the product is actually made.

5. What's The Purchase Structure?

Check whether you're buying a one-time purchase or an autoship subscription, and what the return window actually covers.
